Student Organizations

Getting involved in a student organization can be one of the most valuable experiences you have at UW-Madison (apart from learning a language!). By actively participating in a student organization, you can gain professional skills, explore interests and careers, and position yourself for scholarship, internship, and leadership opportunities.

Look for student organizations related to languages or cultures, like the Arabic Language Association or the German Club. You can find organizations related to international social or political issues, like Asha for Education or Engineers Without Borders. You can also find organizations that will allow you to challenge yourself and build professional skills. UW-Madison has so many student organizations, you’ll be sure to find one that interests you. Student organizations, whether they are related to your language and international interests or not, can make up an essential part of your Wisconsin Experience.

The Center for Leadership & Involvement (CfLI) is an ideal place to start.  CfLI is the hub for leadership and involvement opportunities on campus.
