Russian Flagship Program Tutor

THE RUSSIAN FLAGSHIP PROGRAM IS A RIGOROUS UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM FOR HIGHLY MOTIVATED STUDENTS TO ACHIEVE A SUPERIOR LEVEL* OF PROFICIENCY AND PROFESSIONAL LEVEL OF COMPETENCE IN RUSSIAN. RUSSIAN FLAGSHIP TUTORS:

  • Provide current students (including students in first- and second-year Russian) with focused one-on-one or small-group tutoring**
  • Submit weekly tutoring reports
  • Participate in a mandatory orientation meeting at the beginning of each semester

**THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES OF TUTORING IN THE RUSSIAN FLAGSHIP:

  • Small-group tutoring for students at all levels of Russian
  • Individual tutoring for students at upper levels of Russian
  • Russian Across the Curriculum tutoring (russianflagship.wisc.edu/rac), a form of individual tutoring either linked to a credit-bearing course or on a focused area of academic interest not linked to a specific course
