Language tutors should be proficient speaker or a user of Italian or Japanese to work with and support high school students.
Currently, instruction is all virtual. Language Tutors need to be comfortable with tutoring students who may choose to not show themselves on camera, as we cannot require the students to do so. Though not required, it would be great if tutors were able to come to their session with either a loosely structured lesson or practice activity that’s appropriate for the student’s proficiency level and interest.
