Government Resume Writing Clinic

Wednesday, April 11, 2018 - 12:00pm
SuccessWorks, 711 State Street, 3rd Floor
This resume writing clinic is a WORKING event. No formal presentation is planned. Instead, students will work collaboratively and with the trainer on resumes they want to submit to federal or state agencies. Participation is limited to 8-10 students so that everyone can get some personal attention and is by RSVP only (see the links below). Students should make an attempt to put a first draft of a government resume together utilizing the resources available in the Dig Deeper 2 section of the Government/Politics/Policy & Law Career Community Page at http://go.wisc.edu/fl198p. DON’T WORRY, IT CAN BE BAD! We’ll make it better together! You should also bring a copy of the job or internship for which you are applying. The trainer, Marie Koko, will give general pointers to the group and 1:1 advice to all attendees. Please RSVP below, but please note: Because the RSVP cannot be limited, you will receive a PERSONAL email from Marie confirming your participation or waitlist status.
