Ukrainian is an official language of Ukraine, the second largest country in Europe. It is spoken by 45 million people in Ukraine and Ukrainian communities around the world. Ukrainian is one of the most melodic languages worldwide. Considering the significant number of vowels used in each word, the language sounds almost like a song. It is also a language with a great literary tradition. It opens the door to the study of the rich history, fascinating culture, and modern politics of Ukraine, which remains at the crossroads of Europe’s central developments. Speakers of Ukrainian have the opportunity to use their language and culture skills in a broad variety of settings such as agriculture, IT, cultural management, business and finances, journalism, diplomacy, non-governmental organizations and much more.
