Appreciate the progress you have made, but don't be afraid to tackle new words or try a different method of learning the language.

 Learning Portuguese opened up new job and travel opportunities for me around the world.

Try to do a little bit each day and study abroad. If you become fluent, it will help you more than you know.

Language not only gave me the confidence to become a strong leader within the Hmong community, but also to become more aware of the cultural differences we have in the world.

Once you open yourself up to learning world languages, they will open you up to the world.

Being able to talk to someone and being forced to rack your brain for how to say something is the best way to learn a language.

My Spanish classes seemed more engaging than my non-language courses —I was always excited to go and could always count on my professors being excited as well.
