October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Help break the silence, fight the stigma, and support survivors of abuse by joining the UNIDOS team!

LA RED is the only 24/7 Spanish-Language Help-Line in Dane County. It is intended for victims of sexual assault or domestic violence from the Latinx, Immigrant, and LGBT+ community. Use your Spanish to connect & help people in the community, gain skills for careers in advocacy & counseling!  In exchange, training participants are asked to commit to 2 monthly shifts during at least one year. Each shift lasts from 5PM-8:30AM and you will be provided with a cellphone to volunteer from the convenience of your home.

WHEN: October 5th &6th from 9AM-4PM

REQUIREMENTS:

-18 and older

-Spanish speakers

-Complete Phone Interview before September 25th

-Complete In-Person Interview before September 29th
